Food for Egypt
Please Help
Due to the current unrest the egyptian people who work in tourism have no work, which means, no food! What I am asking is for you and maybe some of your friends to hold a:-Gratitude Lunch/Dinner
in aid of food for the egyptian people of AswanI want to make it clear that I am not a registered charity but I do have a family in Egypt (Aswan). I can and do keep them in food , it's their neighbours and wider community who need food right now! so if you can please help by holding a gratitude lunch/dinner or any other way that would be great.Outline ideas for running your own gratitude lunch/dinner
1 - Set a date for hosting your own, keep it small, maybe 4 to 6 people.2 - Talk to your friends, tell them about the the lack of means to buy food in Egypt and ask them to participate.
3 - Ask each person to bring some food to share and to donate £2.50 each towards food for people in Egypt ( more if they wish). Please send the money collected to me, Liz Cashmore (address at top of page), I will pay for the money to be transferred to my husband in Aswan, Egypt! He will buy food and give it to the people of Aswan. I will ask him to take photos of the food bought and the people he gives it to. No worries, Ashraf has a white heart, bless him, that's why I love him! £2.50 = 20 egyptian pounds. 1kg rice costs 10 egyptian pounds, thats a lot of rice.I know I am asking a lot but I can't just sit back and watch these people starve. I don't know what else I can do which is why I am asking for your help.

Moondust 2012
Moondust 2012 is a charity for homeless women and their children who at present live on the streets of Egypt,
often estranged from their husbands and families, through no fault of their own.
Women and children are hungry , cold and vulnerable NOW!!!
I have seen this with my own eyes and my conscience will not allow me to do nothing!
The time to act is now!!!
The aim is to open a homeless centre for these people as soon as possible.
Egypt is very cold at night in winter.
These women have no income and very little possessions, food comes only by begging. The children can not go to school as it costs. Our target is to raise in excess of £ 155,000 for a building and ongoing funding
